Autumn in Paris
Here are five very good reasons, suggested by Starhotels Castille, to spend a weekend in the wonderful Ville Lumière, before winter comes.
Gardens. You cannot absolutely miss the view of Paris’s gardens in autumn, when the green makes room for warmer tones, the leaves turn red and the cooler weather comes in. The ideal hideaways are: Jardin des Tuileries and Jardin du Luxembourg.
The Chtchoukine Collection at the Louis Vuitton Foundation. Showing from October 22, 2016 to February 20, 2017, the exhibition showcases one of the world's greatest private collections of modern art.
Cycling along the Seine. You don’t need to buy a bicycle. Thanks to the Velib public transport service, you can hire a bike at one of the 1,800 stations scattered across the city!
Relaxing on a terrace. There’s nothing more relaxing then observing Paris from above while sipping a cup of tea or hot chocolate. Among the most evocative rooftop, the restaurant Ciel de Paris, the Café Branly, Cafe Marly, the historical brasserie Chez Francis and that of the restaurant Dame de Canton.
Montmartre’s Carousel. In Place Saint Pierre, children and adults alike will enjoy riding Paris’s oldest merry-go-round, while looking up at the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur!
